WANNES MEERT

Postdoctoral researcher in Machine Learning in the Declarative Languages and Artificial Intelligence group of the Departement of Computer Science at the K.U.Leuven.

My research is focused on industrial applications of machine learning and data mining.

My PhD was on learning for Probabilistic Logic Models (Statistical Relational Learning, SRL), more specific learning for CP-logic under guidance of professor Hendrik Blockeel.

Since 2011 I am involved in the course Machine Learning from prof. Hendrik Blockeel.
From 2007 to 2011 I was teaching assistant for the course Modelling Complex Systems from prof. Marc Denecker (together with Hanne Vlaeminck Jon Sneyers).
