About me

I'm a third year PhD student at the LIIR research group, in the department of Computer Science at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. My supervisor is Professor Marie-Francine Moens.

Research

My research is situated in the domain of Natural Language Processing (NLP). More specifically, it is about the summarization and simplification of text.

Interests

In general: Natural Language Processing, Optimization theory, Machine Learning
More specific: unsupervised and semi-supervised methods, text summarization, sentence compression, text simplification, machine translation, accessibility, language models, text mining, relation extraction, string kernels, ...
