Instructions for prospective students

Before sending any mail to me, please read this page. If, after reading this, you still have questions, you can ask them by mail. Start your mail with "I have read the text at http://people.cs.kuleuven.be/~hendrik.blockeel/applications.html." Mails that do not contain this sentence may not be answered.

Internships:

Short-term internships in our group are only possible for students who are already studying for a Masters degree at a university within the EU, and who can travel freely within the EU. We do not offer financial support for internships.

Masters:

If you wish to pursue a Masters degree in our group, we recommend the Master of Artificial Intelligence program, http://mai.kuleuven.be. Finishing this program with excellent grades puts you in an ideal position to pursue a PhD in our group or elsewhere. We do not provide financial support for Masters students.

PhD:

If you wish to pursue a PhD in our group, then:

if you are already at K.U.Leuven, and registered for a Masters program that you expect to finish during the current academic year, please contact me directly by email.
in all other cases, continue on to this page.
