Ada Jobs - Services offered by Ada-Belgium

If you are looking for people interested in an Ada-related job in (or close to) Belgium, you should check out the services that the Ada-Belgium non-profit organization (*) offers. Below is general information on the different ways that Ada-Belgium can help Ada-related job providers and job seekers to find each other. Some of these options may be useful for your company.

  1. Free service

    You can send any Ada-related job announcement (preferably in English and in plain text format) to me at Dirk.Craeynest@cs.kuleuven.be and, time permitting, I will add it to the Ada-Belgium "job pages" at http://www.cs.kuleuven.be/~dirk/ada-belgium/jobs/.

    There's no charge for placing such an announcement on our web-pages, nor do you have to be a member of our organization.

    The only requirement is that there is some link with Belgium, e.g. the job is located in or near Belgium, or is of interest to people in Belgium, or the hiring company is Belgian or looking for Belgian people. I suggest you check out the URL mentioned above for the kind of material you should provide. Most important is to include some information about the job itself.

  2. Member service

    In addition to this free service, your company might consider corporate Ada-Belgium membership. The annual fee is 130 EUR for the ongoing calendar year.

    Some of the extra services we offer all corporate members, see http://www.cs.kuleuven.be/~dirk/ada-belgium/member-benefit.html is to post Ada-related job offers to our electronic mailing lists (members 40+ addresses, interested non-members 240+ addresses), plus to our "paper" member mailing list when there's a mailing (30+ postal addresses) or to our full "paper" mailing list upon request (500+ postal addresses). Together all this targets most of the people in or close to Belgium that are using or interested in Ada.

  3. Extra options

    And finally, to expand your recruiting base and to get more visibility you might be interested to sponsor Ada-Belgium, and/or to sponsor Ada-Europe, and/or to attend, exhibit, or sponsor the next Ada-Europe conference, which is organized in Stockholm, Sweden, from June 11 to 15, 2012 (see http://www.ada-europe.org/conference2012 for more information, and select Call for Contributions, or contact the Conference Chair).
