Function Description: 4 Analyst Programmers / Engineers Ada

Position

Responsibilities include requirement analysis and implementation constraints, with special care for availability, maintainability, performance and reliability aspects. The project scope encompasses evolution of existing applications in Ada 95 (including new functionality and implementation of new components), in a CORBA environment.
Participation in the production of detailed technical specifications, including test specifications, and in the development of the Flight applications and services.

• Requirements analysis and incident analysis.
• Production of detailed design and software documentation (using Object Oriented Analysis / Design).
• Implementation (design, code & test) and delivery of source files as per CFMU configuration management.
• Documentation and execution of Unit and System tests (including participation in test automation).
• Participation in the validation of the design, its performance and reliability.
• Participation in on-call service.

Profile

Essential: Full University Level
Desirable: Degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering or equivalent experience.
Languages: Ability to read, write and speak English is mandatory. Knowledge of French is an advantage.

Essential: Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in the development of Application Software. Extensive experience in Object Oriented design and programming. Good Ada experience mandatory. Experience in the development of applications in a mission critical environment.

Desirable: some C++ experience. Experience with distributed systems and/or component based systems, open architecture (CORBA, Web services). Experience of software development in UNIX environment (shell programming). Technical knowledge of flight plan processing would be an advantage, but is not mandatory.
