Thales Information Systems, its Benelux subsidiary, is composed of 2 departments: Air Traffic Control (ATC), and Information Technology (IT). This offer concerns the Air Traffic Control Department.

The activity of the 20 persons working for the department is various: corrective and evolutive maintenance of the software of an Air Traffic Control centre (500.000 Ada lines of code); software development in multi-national teams; project management of large European projects; consultancy: training, feasibility studies, ...

The ATC projects involve the application of development methodologies from the User requirements to the acceptance by the Customer. Our company is ISO 9001 certified.

Domain

Aerospace and Air Traffic Control applications

Experience

• Education: Civil Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Graduate in Computer Sciences or similar experience.
• One or two years of experience in software development.
• Knowledge of a programming language preferably Ada otherwise C, C++ or Pascal.
• Experience in the Aerospace or Air Traffic Control is an asset.

Languages

French and English are required. Dutch is an asset.

Description

The successful candidate will work under the co-ordination of a project manager. He will be responsible to develop an application, from the Users requirements to the Customer acceptance, following the complete project life-cycle according to the Thales Information Systems's methodology.

The technologies used in ATC applications are:
