Object Oriented Design & Analysis : Ada - C++

Function

The more experienced applicants will be responsible for Object Oriented Analysis review, the architecture and design of applications, with special care for availability, maintainability, performance and reliability. The missions will also involve analysis, production of "software design" and documentation and testing. The consultants will be involved in the validation of the design, the performances and the reliability.

Domain specific training will be provided when needed.

Profile

The applicant must have an extensive experience in architecture and design of large scale distributed applications.

2 or 5 years experience (or more for seniors) in the Specification and Design of Application Software, preferably in a critical environment. The technical knowledge of flight processing would be an advantage.

University level in Software Engineering;
Language : English : Mandatory (read, write, speak) ; other European languages will be an asset. Team-work spirit and good communication skills.

Techical Skills:
Sound experience in the production of technical specifications for systems. Good knowledge of Middleware such as CORBA. RDBMS : Oracle. Design methodologies : Object Oriented Analysis and Design - UML; experience with CASE Tools. Good knowledge of Unix and NT platforms. Some knowledge of TCP/IP communication protocols. CORBA : would an asset.
