Greetings Teamers --

This is an important SIGAda '99 announcement.

At SIGAda '99, there will be a workshop devoted to
Ada Standard Component Library (ASCL).  The
tentative ASCL Working Group materials are at

I will coordinate the workshop, but I do not
pretend to be the most knowledgeable person, so I
hereby call on Team Ada for two kinds of help:

1. Those who have thought of a coherent SCL
   approach, harmonious with the advancements in
   other languages (notably Java/JDK and C++/STL),
   and seriously for a long time, I'd appreciate
   help with co-coordination (1-3 coordinators
   total) -- please respond personally with a
   phone number.

2. EVERYBODY is welcome to attend the workshop at
   SIGAda '99, Tuesday, 10:30 am -- 4:00 pm.
