Call for Papers

1996 Ada-Belgium Seminar

November-December 1996

Ada-Belgium is soliciting papers for presentation during its next Annual Seminar, to be held in the Brussels-Leuven area in November-December 1996 (exact time and place TBD). Attendees will include industry, government and university representatives that are active and interested in Ada software development and management.

This sixth annual Ada-Belgium Seminar will feature tutorial, paper and project presentations. As the previous years, we are preparing a program with first class invited speakers, such as John Barnes in 1994 and Robert Dewar in 1995, and lots of free Ada-related material, e.g. free Ada CD-ROMs in 1994 and 1995, copies of the Ada 95 Reference Manual and Rationale in 1995, etc.

Papers consistent with the general themes of the Seminar, outlined below, are hereby invited:

Management of Ada software development projects, including the transition to Ada 95.
Experiences with Ada development, including multimedia and internet applications.
Ada technology, including Ada 95 topics.
Ada research projects in universities and industry.

Interested authors should submit an extended abstract or a full paper, in English, and a brief biographical sketch by June 28, 1996, to:

Authors of selected papers will be notified shortly after July 1, 1996. The final deadline for submission of papers, in a form suitable for inclusion in the seminar proceedings (camera ready), is October 14, 1996.

Besides presentations of papers (20 min. + 10 min. for questions), we also intend to have short presentations (5 to 10 min.) of Ada related activities of Belgian companies. Please contact the 1996 Ada-Belgium Seminar Secretariat, if you would like to give a project presentation.
