                    20-22 June, 2012

In 2006, the IEEE Reliability Society made a strategic
decision to launch an annual conference focusing on security
and reliability. This resulted in the establishment of an
International Conference on Secure Software Integration and
Reliability Improvement (SSIRI). From this year onward, the
conference has been renamed to International Conference on
Software Security and Reliability (SERE), with SE representing
SEcurity and RE for REliability, to make the focus of the
conference more easily recognizable.


SERE 2012 will be held at the National Institute of Standards
and Technology (NIST), an agency of the U.S. Department of
Commerce, in Gaithersburg, Maryland, less than one hour from
Washington D.C.

The conference proceedings will be published by IEEE Press
and made available in the IEEE digital library.
Papers in the proceedings are also included in the Ei
Compendex database.

Authors of selected best papers from the conference will be
invited to submit an extended version to a special section of
the IEEE Transactions on Reliability.
