The ninth General Assembly of Ada-Belgium will take place at

The Agenda of the G.A. has been fixed as follows :

1. Introductory word
2. Presentation of the work conducted during 2001
3. Approval of the balance for 2001 (vote)
4. Discussion about the activities to be organized in 2002
5. Approval of the budget for 2002 (vote)
6. Conditional adjustment of the membership fee for 2003 (vote)
7. Choice of the size of the Board (vote)
8. Presentation of the candidates for the Board
9. Election of the Board (vote)
10. Varia

The 2-year mandates of the following Board members end: Yvan Barbaix, Luc Bernard, Dirk Craeynest, Raymond Devillers, Karel De Vlaminck, Francis Germain, Marc Gobin and Andrew Hately. They may be re-elected but they have to apply for re-election formally, together with any other member willing to enter the Board. All candidates are invited to notify their desire before February 14 (2002) to the Ada-Belgium Secretary (see header).
Yvan Barbaix and Marc Gobin have announced their intention not to seek re-election. The other board members thank them for all the work they devoted to Ada-Belgium.
Agreement was reached that, of those standing for election, exceptionally some candidates should offer themselves for election for one year and others for two in order to have approx. half of the board mandates ending every year.

Members willing to add items to the agenda are invited to do so also before February 14 (2002), at the same address as above.

If you have not yet renewed your affiliation, please make the necessary payment before the General Assembly, in accordance with the invoice that was sent via postal mail some time ago.

Note: at 8pm, after the General Assembly, Pierre Morere of Aonix France will present an "Aonix Technology Update".
