Announcement
Ada-Belgium will hold its eighth annual General Assembly on Wednesday, February 21, 2001, at the U.L.B., Department of Computer Science, Boulevard du Triomphe / Triomflaan, B-1050 Brussels, at 18:00.
The official convocation is available, and was also sent via postal mail to all members.
At 19:00 the General Assembly will be followed by the third session of our course on Ada95, focussing on the object-oriented features of the language. A separate Ada course home page is available with more detailed information.
Participation
Everyone interested is welcome at either or both parts of this meeting. The event is free.
All Ada-Belgium members have a vote at the General Assembly, can add items to the agenda, and can be a candidate for a position on the Board (see the convocation for more details).
If you have not yet renewed your affiliation please do so by paying the appropriate fee before the General Assembly (2000-members received also a printed request via normal mail). If you are interested to become a new member, please register by filling out the 2001 membership application form and by paying the appropriate fee before the General Assembly. Early renewal or registration ensures you receive the full Ada-Belgium membership benefits (including the Ada-Europe indirect membership benefits package).
As mentioned on the
Ada course home page
we have a limited stock of documentation sets and Ada related CD-ROMs
from previous events. These sets will be available on a first-come
first-serve basis at the General Assembly and subsequent course
sessions for current and new Ada-Belgium members.
Please inform me via e-mail if you are interested in receiving the
free documentation set and/or a CD and/or CD-ROMs, so I can bring enough
copies with me.
