International Workshop on Environments for Multi-Agent Systems (E4MAS 2004, 2005, 2006)

I was the initiator and co-organizer together with Van Parunak and Fabien Michel of the AAMAS workshop series on Environments for Multi-Agent Systems (E4MAS). The objective of E4MAS was to investigate the role of the environment in multiagent systems. The post-proceedings of the first E4MAS workshop in New York, 2004 are published as LNCS volume 3374, copyright Springer-Verlag. The post-proceedings of the second E4MAS workshop in Utrecht, 2005 are published as LNCS Vol. 3830. The post-proceedings of the third E4MAS workshop organized in Hakodate, 2006 will be published in February 2007 as LNCS volume number 4389. Together with Van Parunak, I have co-edited a Special Issue on Environments for Multiagent Systems in the Journal on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems that is published as Vol. 14, number 1, February 2007 (digital access). In addition, Andea Omicini and I have co-edited a Special Issue on Engineering Environments for Multiagent Systems in the International Journal on Multiagent and Grid Systems (MAGS). This issue will be publishced later this year.
