You submit by sending an e-mail with any number of your solutions to bmd@cs.kuleuven.be.
The Subject line in your e-mail should say "PPC2005"
Your e-mail should contain the solutions in plain asci (no attachments) and have the structure:
%%%%%%%%%%%%%begin submission%%%%%%%%%%%%%
Name(s): will smith, pierce brosnan, mel gibson
Affiliation(s): mgm
Prolog system used: hollylog
%%%%%%%%%%%%%floop.pl%%%%%%%%%%%%
your solution that had to be in floop.pl
%%%%%%%%%%%%%bla.pl%%%%%%%%%%%%
your solution that had to be in bla.pl
%%%%%%%%%%%%%end submission%%%%%%%%%%%%
You can send e-mail as often as you want: only the last e-mail will be taken into account for correctness of solutions and timing - once more, so that you understand what you are doing: we will look only at your last e-mail (send within the 24 allotted hours), meaning that you must include everything you want us to take into account in that last e-mail, even the solutions you have send before, even if you haven't altered them since.
The order (for deciding the winner) is defined as follows:
first based on the number of correct solutions, then based on the time stamp of your last e-mail
In case of a tie, the speed of the solution to the problem designated as such in the problem statement is decisive, and if not, more than one team will be declared the winner.
You can use any of the following Prolog (or Prolog-like) systems: SWI-Prolog, GNU-Prolog, SICStus Prolog, XSB, Yap, ECLiPSe, CIAO. But you have to use the same system for every solution ! If you are a developer of any of these systems, the chances are high that you have access to a version that I do not have. It is in your interest to avoid that this causes problems.
Here are the problems and the test files - at 18:00 on 2 October - it might take an extra minute and a reload of this page.
